How-To Guide

Reposting this…

The blog has seen a huge increase in traffic in the last month.

No idea why, but here’s my advice for the best way to figure out what the hell I’m talking about. First, read the manifesto. There’s a link in the right column. Second, sort the posts chronologically, using the pull-down menu above the manifesto link and choosing “Sort by Date ASC.” And if the mood strikes you, leave a comment. Nobody else seems to, so there are a lot of opportunities to claim “first.”

Olive Juice in Gangland

Just a bit of trivia: The most popular search terms that mistakenly lead people to this blog are “Olive Juice” and “Gangland.”

Olive Juice was the title of my post back in September about my previous girlfriend jumping the gun on things. Gangland is from October when I went to watch a game at a garage attendant’s apartment.

Being a bit of a logophile, I am fascinated by how some terms’ uniqueness make them powerful search terms. Kind of wondering what the next one will be.

Sorting Posts

Some people have written to me asking if there was an easier way to read the posts in chronological order. If you’re new to my blog, it makes a lot more sense if you start at the beginning and read it that way than the default reverse chronological order. Anyway, Paul helped me figure it out and now there’s a handy pull-down menu on the right column that can sort the posts the way I wrote them. Enjoy.

Spread the Love…

I feel like despite my setbacks, this is turning out to be a pretty cool project. I wish more people knew what I was doing here, so if any of my posts strike a nerve or affect you in any significant way, I’d love it if you could spread the word. I’ve added these handy little icons for sharing, so please help out if you can.

Thanks,
